This was a commission for a wedding gift. The person was the bride's great great gandmother. I took the head from the photograph (see below the picture), needing to do more than just reproduce a photo she already had. The picture is a Photoshop manipulation mostly. I played with the image until I was satisfied, then decided to make it look like an old stone tablet.
